I am trained in DIR Introduction to floor time , Oral Placement Therapy from Talk Tools USA (Level 1 and Level 2 ) , Makaton Sign Language (Module 1 and 2 ), 45 hours -Training on Applied Behavior Analysis ( ABA ), CALM- P Training. I am also certified in Voice Rehabilitation after Laryngectomy.
I believe therapy should be naturalistic, child-centered, and child-led where possible, and involve the entire family and ‘team around the child’ to attain optimal outcomes. Outside of work I enjoys watching movies , listening to music, arts and travelling.
Since graduating in 2013 Sarah has worked in various paediatric settings in London and Dubai.
Sarah is experienced in assessing and providing interventions for children with a broad range of speech, language and communication difficulties including; developmental language disorders, language delay, Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), social communication disorders and speech sound delays/disorders.
