Hi my name is Patricia Torres and I was born in El Salvador and immigrated to Australia when I was 2 years old. I grew up in Canberra, Australia and attended the University of Canberra where I received my Bachelor of Education. Once I graduated, I taught Year 1 at an Early Childhood school in Canberra for 4 years.
Since moving to the UAE in 2013, I have taught in various schools across Dubai and Al Ain. I worked for the Abu Dhabi Education Council at a government school for 6 years as a KG teacher and Head of Faculty. This experience allowed me the opportunity to learn about the UAE culture, which has enabled me to be a dynamic and effective practitioner in this country.
