As well as challenging, I firmly believe school should be a fun, happy and friendly environment.
Prior to moving to the UAE, I studied towards a PGCE in Primary Education and undertook my teacher training in Manchester, United Kingdom- where I have previously taught across KS2. I hold a BA Honours degree in History and I have a keen interest in the subject, alongside a passion for Maths and Computing in particular.
As well as challenging, I firmly believe school should be a fun, happy and friendly environment. All children have individual strengths and talents, which should be nurtured in a place where they feel comfortable and valued. I aim to ensure that my classroom is a warm and welcoming environment which provides each child with the opportunity to grow, regardless of their academic ability.
I began teaching in the UAE 7 years ago at a British school in Abu Dhabi, where I was the Year 3 Leader.
I moved to Dubai 6 years ago and since then I have taught across both KS1 and KS2. This will be my 5th year at Safa.
