Kellie Crozier

My name is Kellie Crozier and I am very excited to be the teacher of Year 1 Red, as well as taking on the role of  Head of Year. I have been living and teaching in Dubai for three years and am looking forward to this new and exciting opportunity.

About Me

I am from a small country village in Ireland in the County of Derry. I attended St. Mary’s  University in Belfast where I studied for 4 years to become a teacher, I graduated with a Bachelor of Education in Primary Science. I followed on in my mum’s footsteps, as she taught for 36 years in our local primary school.

Finally, ‘the me you can’t see’. When I’m not in school, I enjoy keeping fit, catching up with my friends, watching the beautiful sunsets of Dubai and browsing in malls (even if it is just to get my  steps in).

My Experience

Alongside my studies, I worked as a lifeguard and swimming teacher.

In September 2012, I accepted my first teaching job in an inner city school in London, I taught  here for two years before moving back home to my family. In Ireland, I taught in an outstanding school not far from my home town for 5 years. In the summer of 2019, I got married and we made the decision to move overseas to the UAE. I have taught in the amazing Safa British for one year and am proud to be part of such a wonderful school community.
