Katie Morris

My Name is Katie Morris. I am EXTREMLY excited to be starting at Safa British School as it holds such special memories, due to the fact I originally started working at Safa when I first moved to Dubai seven years ago. In the meantime, I have taught predominantly KS1, as well as supporting students with Special Educational Needs in various schools across Dubai.

About Me

Finally, the ‘me you can’t see’. I love living in Dubai with my Husband and two young children, Sienna and George. At the weekends, we love spending time at the pool practising our swimming or building sandcastles at the beach. We also love baking cakes as well as visiting new and exciting places around the world!

My Experience

I am originally from a town called Exeter in the Southwest of England. I attended the University of Southampton to study Geography before training to be a teacher at the University of Exeter. After this, I developed a huge passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs, especially those with Speech and Language needs. I later completed my qualification as a Primary SENCO as well as a Post Graduate Certificate in Special Educational Needs.

As an educator, my priority is the students in my care. It is important to offer every opportunity to allow all students to grow and succeed. I love seeing my students accomplish their goals and celebrating their successes with them.
