Great Coach care about their swimmers, not as a mere athlete but as a person. Swim Coach understand that swimming teaches valuable life lessons that their students can use later in their adult life.
As a tender year of 8, I started to learn swimming. At first, it was just for fun and thinking it will help me and my family with school fees as well. True enough and I became passionate about it and from then on, my achievements were on the roll. I had been awarded as Outstanding Athlete, competes in National Games and been part of the Philippine Water polo team (Team B).
I, myself as an athlete can easily relate, understand the students struggles and needs hence thought why not share what I have.
I love coaching as the feeling is rewarding especially seeing your students learn and excel showing what they can emulate.
At SBS, my primary goal is to help students learn basic swimming and water survival and my ultimate goal is to lead the Swim Squad to be on higher rankings and to be recognized as one of the best in UAE.
I have a vast experience in teaching swimming from toddler to squad even with mentally challenged students. My career as a Swim coach began during my Secondary years as a part-timer, climbed my way up as an Assistant Coach in a Swim Club and improved my coaching skills through American Swimming and Coaches Association level 1 and 2. In line with swimming, an additional knowledge and experience to Safety and Emergency Responding has been gained as this is vital and will come handy as a Swim Coach.
