A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination and instill a love of learning
Hello, my name is Jess Campbell, and this is my fourth year teaching in Dubai, second year teaching in Safa British. I am from a town called Harrow in London however my family originate from County Mayo in Ireland.
I have had such an amazing first year at Safa British School and I am so excited to start a brand new year with all your amazing children. My goal is to make Year 2 Onyx a place of fun, independent learning, which foster new relationships and enable children to make lasting memories. I know with such supportive parents at Safa British, we are going to have a fabulous year.
After completing my GCSE’s and A Levels, I went on to study Primary teaching and religious education with a specialist in Key stage 1 at Roehampton University. I studied here for three years and graduated in July 2016. The following September I accepted my first job in a school in London. I really enjoyed working at this school and it was the perfect place to start my teaching career. After two years, I decided to finally make the move to sunny Dubai, and it was one of the best decisions I have made.
