I thoroughly enjoyed studying Business as an A Level subject. I particularly enjoyed the marketing units of the course and therefore decided to study Leisure Marketing at Bournemouth University.
After graduating, I knew that I wanted to embark on a career that was rewarding and where I could relay my passion for Business. I therefore decided to study a PGCE in Business Education at the University of Sunderland and pursue a career in teaching.
I began my teaching career working in the UK. I taught at schools in Newcastle upon Tyne and in Somerset. I then moved to a British International School in Doha, Qatar working as a Teacher of Business, Deputy Head of Business & Economics and then Head of Business & Economics. I recently moved to Dubai and am really looking forward to working at Safa British School.
I was born and raised in Taunton, Somerset in the South West of England. I have been teaching internationally for the last 5 years including 4 years teaching in Qatar before moving to Dubai. In my spare time I enjoy playing/watching football and tennis, running and going to the gym. I also enjoy travelling, seeing different parts of the world and experiencing different cultures.
