I believe that education should provide children with equal access to the curriculum, encouraging them to work to the best of their ability and enabling them to reach their full potential in a stimulating environment.

About Me

I was born in the UK but I grew up in a city in the south-west of Ireland.

In 2013 I completed a degree in Applied Social Studies. Throughout this time I got the opportunity to work with children in many different settings. It was here that I realised I had a passion for teaching. Because of this, I went on to complete my PGCE in the University of Sunderland.

I find interacting with people from different cultures a fascinating and enriching experience, which has helped me to evolve as a practitioner here in the UAE. I am now lucky to call the UAE my home and look forward to many more years of sunshine!

My Experience

The enthusiasm and enjoyment I have for teaching has shaped the path I have taken over the past nine years of my career. I am committed to high standards and feel that my hard work and expectations are an example to the children I teach.

Having taught in a variety of different schools in the UAE, I have actively sought new challenges and experiences to explore how children learn.
