Bronach O’Brien

As a teacher, I always strive to be as enthusiastic and positive as I possibly can so that not only do the children learn, they also enjoy their time at school.

About Me

My name is Bronach O’Brien and I am from Belfast in Ireland. I studied Psychology for my undergrad at Queens University and following on from this, I worked as a learning support assistant. I then went on to complete my PCGE in Roehampton University in London and after teaching for in both Belfast and London I decided to move overseas to Dubai.

‘The me you can’t see’:
When I’m not in school, I enjoy keeping fit and going to the gym. I have a particular interest in long distance running and like to take part in many races around Dubai. I also love to spend my free time playing golf, reading a book in the sun and exploring the surrounding areas.”

My Experience

This will be my 9th year teaching (7th in Dubai) and my 2nd year here at Safa British School. Teaching has always been a passion of mine and I have been privileged to teach across many different year groups and this year will be my third time teaching year 3. From my first teaching post until now, I have been lucky enough to teach children from all backgrounds, and these experiences have allowed me to develop a desire for delivering the highest quality learning.
