Seeing those lightbulb moments where learning really takes place is what I love most about teaching. I aim to create a calm, motivating, and positive classroom environment where children feel safe, secure, and happy.
I am from a small seaside town called Redcar in the North of England. I moved to Dubai in 2015 and joined Safa in 2017. As well as teaching, I enjoy traveling, reading, and spending time with my friends and family.
After completing a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education and Training in 2015, I made the move from the North of England to Dubai where I started my teaching career in Year 2 at an International School. In 2017 I moved to Safa as an NQT where I completed my teacher training and have had the opportunity to teach in FS1, FS2, Year 1 and Year 3. Teaching across the key stages has allowed me to see the progress and learning journey children make from year to year, as well as creating great relationships with the children and parents at SBS.
