I believe education is through building trust, building respect, and enjoying time with students. I am looking forward to a new year at Safa British school and to develop engaging and rewarding learning experiences.
I come from the historical yet modernized city of Amman, Jordan, but I have been living in Dubai now for twelve years. I am a mother of three children and seeking my career development within education field.
Having completed my bachelor degree in French Literature at the University of Jordan, I worked for 4 years in Jordan at De La Salle College and National orthodox school. Following this, my family and I made the decision to move to Dubai.
My personal philosophy of education is through building trust, building respect, and enjoying my time with students’ thorough self-gratification. I firmly believe that once these are established, the most valuable, purposeful, and memorable learning can take place.
I worked as HS Arabic B Teaching Assistant at Emirates International School-Meadows for MYP from September 2015 until June 2016. The school is an accredited IB World School and operates the full continuum of IB curricula. I was working as a teacher assistant for Arabic B for grades 7, 8 and 9, writing progress reports for SEN (Special Education Need) students, in addition to class support of Arabic A and Islamic A for grade 7.
In September 2016. I started to work as full-time teacher for Arabic B and culture studies by August 2016, for 7th, 8th, and 9th grades with the Emirates international Schools-Meadows.
Currently, I moved to Safa British School as Arabic B teacher for primary since 2019, I am teaching Year 2, and Year 3. The school is following the British curriculum.
I started October 2021 My Master’s degree in Leadership Education with Liverpool John Moorse University as part of my education development and my career path within the school system, which will also help me to improve my background and get more experience in educational field.
