Every child is allocated a ‘house’ at Safa British School Dubai. House competitions are organised throughout the school year. House points are rewarded for good work, hard work, helping our friends and teachers or good behavior. These are totalled each week and announced at assembly.
Our ‘houses’ are named after local Dubai parks, as follows:
|Mamzar||Mamzar is named after Mamzar Park located on the lagoon linking Dubai and Sharjah. The park is built on reclaimed land and offers a sea and lagoon shore as well as BBQ areas are much more.|
|Safa||Safa is named after Safa Park located in the heart of the residential district of Jumeirah and only a few minutes away from our school. It’s lush grass, boating lake and running track make it a popular destination.|
|Creek||Creek is named after Creek Park located between the Garhoud and Bridges. This ornamental park offers great views of the Creekside and with a cable car you can see all over the cityscape.|
|Mushrif||Mushrif is named after Mushrif Park located beyond Mirdiff. This park is a great place for cycling, bird watching and enjoying the desert landscape. It also has some impressive miniature houses from round the world.|
